This is our second time baking cookies for family! We (I) did this our first year married and I wanted to do it last year as our first year in our new house gift but with the miscarriage and work and Lucy, I was too sad and too overwhelmed to do so, so here I am this year cranking them out and loving every second!!
I started off with my Nana's sugar cookie recipe and it turned out pretty good!
Second I made a new cookie recipe I found on pinterest and they were by far the tastiest cookie! So creative combining two amazing flavors in one!
The third cookie was the peanut butter chocolate no bake oatmeal cookies from my Gigi's recipe. They were quite phenomenal.
We dropped them off to 10 of our families houses and they all loved different cookies from the collection!
The next weekend my brother in law Edgar graduated with his bachelors in computer science from ETSU and we were all so incredibly proud of him!
Also that following Monday we took Lucy to the groomers for the first time ever and to say I was a nervous wreck is an understatement. But she did fantastic and looked amazing! They gave her a bath, blow dried her, sprayed her with jellybean cologne, expressed her anal glands, cut the big clumps of hair from her tail, cleaned her ears out, clipped her nails, and cleaned her teeth! She was so pampered! Aqua dogs grooming is amazing!
