Backyard Camping and Fence Building!

Hey! Not much to post about or update but I wanted to share how Cody and I have been spending our sweet time at home (besides me working at work).

These are crazy times and it's not fun to be scared, but the extra time we are getting at home, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am LOVING this extra time with Cody so so so so so much!

To give us something to do because even the walking trails are roped off 😓, we broke out our tent and went tent camping in the backyard! We had an absolute blast! It took us like 15 minutes to pitch the tent and we were set!

We filled the tent with our duvet comforter, pillows, snacks, and books and told ghost stories and cuddled. We probably got 3 hours of sleep total because it was so darn cold. But who would have expected anything else tent camping!? It was so much fun! I can't wait to do it again!

 

It was a pretty spacious tent! It was 4 person tent and held us really nicely!

While we are hanging around the house Cody has become Mr. Handy man! He built us some shelves in the garage, bought us a lawnmower and weed eater and has been mowing the grass weekly! He also, along with his dad and Tyler helping, put together the second side of the fence! Only one more side to go before the dog gets here in 5.5 weeks!! All we have left to do too is build lockers in our garage!

I also crawled in Lucy's spot under the stairs to hide the exposed wires and fix the nails sticking out. We have to fix the door for her on that and make a dog door on the side of the garage door.

Plus make a last minute run to petco to get Lucy items for the house.
