On June 15th-16th, Cody, Uncle Wade, Aunt Jody, and Nana and I took a quick trip to Enterprise Alabama for a family member's wedding. We had an absolute blast! It was such a quick trip (leaving at 7am Saturday morning and coming home at 9pm Sunday evening for Father's Day) but so incredibly worth it. It was so nice seeing extended family that I hadn't seen in 15+ years and some I had never met! I love family so I had a ball! I loved showing Cody off too. Nana and Guy's family are so incredibly sweet and welcoming to us.
When we arrived after the 5 1/2 hour drive, we went straight to eat and catch up with the family and then hurriedly got ready for the wedding. On the way we took a picture of the famous Boll Weevil and a really cool painting on the wall (*I did not wear the outfit in that picture to the wedding)!
The wedding was absolutely beautiful and fun! Cody and I danced the night away and sent the couple off! We got back in and fell asleep at 1:00am (our time).
The next morning Nana and I played billiards and ping pong until breakfast was ready. We ate with Nana's oldest sister and her husband. Then we went to visit my late grandfathers (Guy) family. It was nice seeing people related to him, telling stores, and hearing stories about my grandfather that I had never heard before! 13 years is too long being without Guy on this earth. Cancer is ugly.
We then went and ate with the rest of Nana's family, said our good bye's and headed out. We got back at a semi-decent time and got to spend some time with Cody's father for Father's day. (I of course called my dad:).

And the next weekend (23rd) I headed up to Knoxville for Morgan's birthday celebration! I arrived Friday night and we talked, played games, and walked Sasha! It is so nice being with family! I miss mom and Morgan! And of course Gigi and Granddad!
The next morning we woke early and ate Morgan's favorite breakfast of morning rice and headed over to play putt-putt and arcade games.
The Dyar women!
We love putt-putt so much!
Morgan made three hole-in-ones!
I made one!
Juice bar smoothies are the BOMB! So so good and healthy!
We then got a smoothie and Morgan a pretzel and saw the Incredibles 2! It was just as great the second time! It was so worth the wait! I love the Incredibles so much and they did an amazing job with the production and story line to the Incredibles 2!
We then went home, ate mom's stir-fry, watched Morgan open presents, and ate cake! I unfortunately had to leave to get back to our church's VBS week kick off but they ended the night playing board games.
Also earlier this past week (6/28) Gigi and Granddad came and ate lunch with me at Cracker barrel at lunch in the middle of my work day! It was a nice break! I was so excited to see them and catch up! They are so sweet to make the drive! And of course they couldn't leave Sasha behind!
Life has been so busy but fun! I wouldn't have it any other way!
We also just got back from our beach trip from Gulf Shores! (Blog and birthday blog to come!)
Since we have been on the road a lot, when we can't be at church, I love cozying up wherever I am to a good online sermon with my crocheting through the music.
Life is so good!
With so much love,
