Conner is 9 Months! Crawling, Club Foot Update

Our sweet boy is 9 months old!!! Holy moly! This month has been incredible, so much change, Conner went from not crawling to full on crawling in like a second and he is everywhere😳 in and out of his braces! We are so incredibly proud of him and for what that means for him, especially after his not-so-great last foot doc visit. He is also pulling up on everything and loves to get into everything he shouldn't. We have babyproofed the house now. He greets us every morning standing in the crib😍. Conner can clap, wave, high-five, and he signed more once while eating! Conner also loves throwing his paci and fights every diaper change and clothes change 😖. Conner weighs 17.9 pounds and is now in 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. Conner has also surprised us with 2 front teeth, who knows how long they have been there🤷🏼‍♀️. This has been a truly exciting month, I just love being with my buddy every day spending time together❤️. I've loved getting to know more of who he is!

Also, 9 months in vs 9 months out! It's hard to believe he's already been here the same amount of time he was growing inside me! We have been so blessed to have little Conner here, these last 9 months have flown by!
The female body is amazing, I literally grew him from scratch, starting off microscopically to a little 7.5 pound baby❤️. It truly is a miracle if you think about it! I don't know if I feel 100% like I did before pregnancy but I never expected to or thought I would. I think it's important to normalize postpartum everything and if you think about it, once you give birth, you are technically postpartum the rest of your life so treat your body with love and kindness. I may not look or feel exactly like I did before but if you see the science behind your body growing another body, you'll understand why! I'm grateful for my body being able to nurture my baby for these 9 months out of the womb as well!🤱🏼God is good, we are so blessed and I don't take a moment of this miracle and ability for granted.

I am so incredibly proud of my baby boy! Pulling up to stand! With all things going against him with his feet/casts/surgery/brace on a daily basis basically since he was born, he shows us just what he can do no matter what, despite the circumstances! His sheer will, determination, and preservance will get him far in life. Look how proud he is of himself🥰 it melts my heart into a puddle. He is even trying to pull up to stand with his braces on!

He learned to pull up before crawling, isn't that incredible!

The best news every every!! We officially have a crawler on our hands 👏🏻 what an intense rollercoaster. He has finally overcome his hesitation to keep moving forward and is ready to take off. He's everywhere now!❤️ Sweet little Conner only gets to practice 1 hour a day and still ceases to amaze us. This time last year after learning about his foot, I couldn't have dreamed we would be at this point with milestones, but God,🙏🏻 He is a way maker and He works in our lives. We are so so grateful. We are so close to being out of the braces, what's left is him pulling up more often, and trying to take a step while being pulled up (which he kind of has been doing). We are so close! Tomorrow's hour out is going to be so much fun!🥳

Conner now is an experct crawler and crawls very quickly. He also crawls with items in his mouth like Lucy lol.

We love free play day at gymnastics!!

Chillin after gymnastics.

I couldn't wait to capture this photo of Cody and Conner both at 8 months old. There are so many similarities in so many different ways. The second I saw this baby picture of Cody when we started dating, I knew that was my son, my son was going to be a carbon copy of Cody and here he is. I've waited for him for so long!

Me and Conner!

3rd group gymnastics class!

We unfortunately learned that Conner has a rare clubfoot complication where his left foot ankle doesn't move, this won't correct itself and he will have to have reconstruction surgery on it when he is 8 years old. We are very frustrated and upset.

Also Conner's first grocery store trip!! He absolutely loved it!

My buddy!

My golden girl!

We love family walks at camp jordan!

Relaxing with my Lucy!!!

This has been the best month EVER!

Love,
