For a late birthday present, we went white water tubing as a family in Townsend TN! It was an absolute blast and the water was so so cold!
I'm so glad we finally got to do this! The river was surprisingly calm and relaxing!

I drove back to Knoxville 3 days later to spend time with my grandfather before his heart surgery and it went extremely well! I'm so happy I got to see him!

Lucy has been living her best life and is so excited the weather is cooling down!
I love taking Lucy to the open fields and playing together!
After my workout she decided to "help" me by repping some weights herself! Always gotta to do what mama's doing!
More creek play and imagination station walking!!
Sweet Lu Lu loves the statues and army tanks!
A little peanut butter snack to tide her over till dinner! Look at those nails so carefully holding the precious jar.
Worn out after swimming and walking!
Thank you dad! I'll just sit here and keep your foot warm, how convenient!
1 month shy of 2 years, I FINALLY got what I wanted in my bathroom. All it took was taking matters into my own hands. I should have known that after the last almost 4 years. Do you like my new and improved shelf height option in my bathroom? I decorated it with Fall flowers and I added in my perfumes, mouthwash, and hair products that were always 1/2" too short for the shelves. It has made a huge difference!!
We've been doing a lot of walking as a family lately and I absolutely love it! This is indeed my happy place!!
This bridge led us to the middle of a homeless camp and I wasn't quite sure if we'd make it out alive. It was very scary and we couldn't leave quick enough.
After my birthday, we took Lucy to swim at Harrison Bay state park! It was amazing to see her not only realize she loves deeper water but that she could swim immediately! I was so proud of her! She kept jumping in on her own over and over and swimming in little circles. I of course had to join her!
Love,
Kayla
