Opryland Hotel

Every other year Cody and I usually go to the beach for a week in the summer but this year, 2020, with covid, we weren't able to do that. So when I found out I was pregnant, we wanted to go on a small beach trip (babymoon) over Labor day in September. Then we lost the pregnancy and covid was ramping up again. So we had always planned for Christmas 2020 to go to the gaylord opryland resort since 2016 and it unfortunately was during this covid mess. We were going to have to cancel it originally also because I would be days away from my due date and that would not be good to be so far away. But obviously with the miscarriage we were able to go again despite covid. It was nice to still have a little bit of a getaway after 2.5 years since our last event, even if it's for a weekend. Since we are planning on getting pregnant within the next 1.5 years Lord willing, we will go on a babymoon to Hawaii, and if that doesn't work out due to covid, another miscarriage scare, or finances, then we will go on a small beach trip to PCB for our babymoon.

My mom was so sweet to watch our sweet Lucy! I love Lucy so much but it was nice to get a day to not worry about our sweet girl.

When we arrived Saturday afternoon, we checked into our room and explored! We had an excellent balcany room to the atrium where live country music was being played and there was the sound of the waterfall in the background! So peacefull!

Later that night we went to the Opry mills mall and ate at Johnny Rockets and explored the mall including my favorite store, Kate Spade scoring some beautiful earrings!!

Our view from our room at night was exquisite!!! I could sit and listen to the live music for hours on end.

We saw a real reindeer :D and explored the movie pop up experience. Honestly I wish they Ice village was up but they usually have artists from China build it and obviously they couldn't do that this year. We will be back one year though!

Christmas Story!

Christmas Vacation

Gorgeous nativity scene.

We then went tubing and grabbed some hot chocolate and ran back to the room.

My new earrings! Life is a gift that you open everyday.

My outfit for sitting on our room balcony at night! PS polar bears are my favorite animal!

Meanwhile back at home Lucy was having a ball with mom watching her doggie tv :).

We decided to order room service for breakfast and it was so peaceful. Especially with the lines for EVERYTHINGGGG else.

We rode the riverboat in the Delta atrium before we left and it was a really unique experience!

Day #2 outfit!

Then we rushed home to see our sweet Lucy! Mom was so kind to spend her weekend looking after Lucy.

With so much love,
