Welcome! We closed on the house, closed out our apartment lease, finished building the house, and had our housewarming party! I repeat, WE FINISHED BUILDING THE HOUSE!!!! Enjoy these photos we have been so patient to share once our house was complete:

The back wall is 100% whiteboard so you he can project football plays (from the projector above) onto the wall and 'draw' on them! So neat!

We are so so so incredibly bless and absolutely can't believe after all of the hard work, our house is complete. We can finally breathe! We love everything so much, it is our dream home and forever home. God has blessed our lives so much and we are forever grateful for Miles in building us a perfect house!

3 Years at Shaw and Valentines Day

February 20th 2020 marks my 3rd year at Shaw!!

This last year has had many ups and downs from sadly losing our internal innovation group, having multiple management changes, and 4 positions I have moved around in during the last 7 months (which came as a big shock each time). I enjoyed my time optimizing LEAN/5S manufacturing, being on the front edge of a new production line/product producing A grade nearly right out of the gates, and now I am settled in as a materials project engineer for our central lab, but in Dalton GA. I greatly enjoy managing and conducting testing for samples from our entire company over the globe and designing non-routine testing to further challenge our products to ensure the upmost quality. Plus my new boss is absolutely wonderful! I am so so blessed and just all around happy! The lab is my niche! Always has been, always will be. Today is Shawesome ;).

Working on our new line late last year. It was SO dusty in the air.

Valentines day was fun! Cody and I went out and at at Bonefish, our favorite restaurant. It was pretty low key, there weren't any movies out to see so we just watched movies at home and played a game of pool at our apartment before we turned in the keys 5 days later. It was very nostalgic and so bitter sweet.
